Our Team

Meet the Hungry Team

At Hungry Communications we’re a close-knit team driven by energy, ideas and a genuine love of the food and drink world. We work hard, think creatively and aren’t afraid to approach things differently if it helps our clients stand out. Relationships are at the heart of what we do – with clients, journalists and partners alike – and that sense of connection gives the team a real family feel.

Sam Houston – Director

With a journalism degree and more than 20 years in the industry, Sam brings experience, energy and creative thinking to Hungry Communications. A natural ideas person, he’s passionate about the food and drink sector and always looking for new ways to help brands stand out.

Often the life and soul of events and launches, Sam thrives on bringing people together – whether that’s journalists, clients or industry partners.

Outside work, he enjoys gardening, growing his own produce and discovering a good English pub. His perfect day would be reading a book in the garden with the sun shining.

Jack Houston – PR and Marketing Manager

Jack brings creativity, organisation and a calm head to Hungry’s events and activations. He’s known for his ability to juggle multiple moving parts while keeping a close eye on the details that make an event run smoothly.

Innovative and charismatic, Jack plays a key role in bringing campaigns and experiences to life. With a strong understanding of the food and drink sector – particularly fresh produce – he helps ensure every event reflects the brand and connects with the right audience.

A real team player, Jack is always willing to lend a hand and support those around him. Outside work, he’s a family man who enjoys time on the golf course whenever he can.

Hannah Isichei – PR Manager

Hannah Isichei Pr and Marketing manager at Hungry Communications

Hannah brings nearly 20 years of PR and marketing experience to Hungry Communications, with a strong instinct for spotting stories and shaping campaigns that capture attention. She enjoys the strategic side of PR – identifying where conversations are happening, spotting the next angle and developing ideas that turn into compelling media stories.

From developing campaign concepts to securing coverage, Hannah is closely involved throughout the process. Even after two decades in the industry, seeing a story she has worked on appear in print still brings the same sense of satisfaction.

She also keeps a close eye on emerging trends in the drinks world. Outside work, Hannah enjoys a busy family life and spending time outdoors, whether that’s hiking or wild swimming.
